Football Party Ideas

It's Football season and a great time to throw a party! If you can't go to the game, you can have a Tailgate Party right in your den! This makes for a fun party to watch the game on TV, a Birthday Party, or a Thanksgiving evening party.

Invite guest to wear their favorite team shirts and hats. A little friendly rivalry will make it interesting!

Decorate in YOUR favorite team colors using balloons and streamers (or use generic colors). Set out any collectibles you may have and hang posters of your favorite player.

Use generic NFL paper tableware (for easy clean up) and all of your guest will be happy! Serve tailgate party type foods such as chicken, sub sandwiches, and chips. Or, chili beans are always a winner! If the weather co-operates, you could have a cook-out and serve hamburgers and hot dogs. Have popcorn and cookies for dessert.

Over the Hill - 40th Birthday Party Ideas

Need ideas for a 40th Birthday Party? Party Buzz has them!

A 40th Birthday party is sometimes done with all black as a joke, but I prefer bright colors...or you can mix both.

It's easy to decorate with lots of balloons, streamers, banners. Co-ordinate with a 40th Birthday theme tableware. If you want black, but not all black...use colorful tableware but throw in some black balloons. Or, just the opposite, all black tableware, but colorful balloons.

Instead, you could also use a milestone musical theme such as Disco or Blast From the Past. Hang disco balls and play disco music. Maybe your 40 year old would rather forget what age he or she is! :-)

Over the Hill - 50th Birthday Party Ideas

Fantastic 50 is traditionally considered an Over the Hill birthday. Party Pantry has several new Over the Hill party supplies and decorations for the 50th milestone birthday. Here are some ideas for your party.

You can choose to go with black, colorful, or mix and match. Traditionally, people use lots of black balloons and/or paper products. I love the Oh No...the Big FIVE-OH! design, matched with black balloons. You could use a black tablecover and black plastic cutlery, and the Big 50 design for the party plates and napkins.

If you don't like the black (too depressing), go with a colorful theme, such as the Fantastic 50 theme. Mix up with colorful solid color paper products and cutlery...for example bright blue, green, or orange. For decorations, add a 50th Birthday banner and LOTS of colorful balloons!

A fun idea for a 50th birthday party is using a Woodstock Hippie Theme. Anyone celebrating a 50th birthday remembers the Hippie era and this will bring back fond memories. Play 60's era music and decorate with tye dye balloons and peace signs.

For the table use Tye Dye party plates and napkins, a bright red or green tablecover, and bright plastic cutlery in a different color.

For favors use peace beads, hippie headbands, and tye dye bracelets and bandana.

Awesome 80's Theme Party Ideas

We have some new party ideas for an 80's theme party. Blast from the Past paper products, Arcade banners, and lots of neon balloons make fun decorations. For favors use Rubix Cubes (remember those?), friendship bracelets, pop rocks, and Pakman coasters. Great idea for a 30th or 40th birthday party. Have some 80's party music playing for a fun time!

21st Birthday Party Supplies

I've started working on updating my Party Pantry - Age Milestone Birthday party supplies today and have 3 new designs. I started with Age 21 and will soon update the pages for each milestone year 30, 40, 50, 60, and 65 - 100. The new designs are The Big Day, Celebration, and Balloon Party. Each design includes plates, napkins, cups, and tablecover, plus theme decorations and balloons.

You can mix and match designs or use all one design tableware. The easiest way to decorate for a 21st birthday party is with the tableware and lots of balloons!
